We are please to present to you Beats Bars and Breaks, a new collective of Hip Hop, Funk and Soul, Breaks DnB, and Ragga Jungle artists bringing tha brand new flavour to your ear!!
Beats Bars and Breaks will cater for all of your funky, hip hop, break beat and Ragga jungle needs with local artist coming down to perform their beats and bars there will be more than enough to keep you on your feet allll night!!
Not only will the night be focusing on bringing you the best of new and old school music but also the opportunity to explore the other elements of hip hop, there will be live Graffiti workshops at The Grove held by Nook at graffrodite designs in the afternoon with live artists spinning their funk soul, hip hop and old skool vibes..
Their will also be a secton of the night for an open mic so anyone you know with hip hop or grime bars is welcome to come and show us what they've got.
And if all of that wasnt enough to get you down, we will also be hosting a battle rap section with beginner and advanced battles so weather you are someone who has been rapping for a long time, or you just get a bit pissed and fancy a laugh your more than welcom to jump up on stage and give it a go! There will ALSO be free beer at the grove from 8-9pm!
With a BBQ throught the evening so your well fed and watered we are sure you will be in the mood for a propper knees up when we migrate to the Birdcage!!
When we Hit the Birdcage we will be picking up the pace a bit with more Hip Hop bangers, break beat, Glitch Hop, Mumbaton, Garage, DnB and Ragga Jungle! with back 2 back performances, never before heard collaborations, and a large variety of music, Beats Bars n Breaks is guarunteed to keep u on your feet and skanking so make sure you wear your comfy shoes and dont miss out!
