The Birdcage is entering a new era and some of Hanoi’s best loved artists, performers and promotors are joining forces to celebrate with us.
Each crew will be showcasing their musical and visual experience with quickfire sets of eclectic tunes from their resident DJs.

Local B-boys and B-girls from Hanoi’s blooming underground hip hip scene bring the breaks and pops whilst Vietnamese record crate digger DJ 2T drops classic funk, soul, hip hop and breakbeats.

-Gingerwork-
Famous for their multimedia party extravaganzas Gingerwork will be laying immersive mapped projections, dance, live performance and installation art to the birdtable.
-Sega-
Team Sega provide their signature deep sunset house and disco grooves with more laidback funk than their whole rack of Hawaiian shirts combined.
-The Nang-
Sub heavy rave monsters bring a double team of jungle, bass and garage producers along with a bit bag of hype to get the dancefloor jumping. Etza and Tam will also be decorating a wall live as the music plays.
--Fire and Bass-
Representing the fire and bass collective Matty C will be spinning choicest jungle and ragga cuts.
-Mau Colour--
Known for their portrait, letter and typography artwork on the streets of Hanoi and SE asia local graffiti collective Mau Colour will be filling the building with new artwork all week in preparation for the event. Members of the crew will also be painting live during the evening.
--Kannon sound--
Bespoke soundsystem from Japan will be filling the birdcage with their beautiful white rig and perfect bass clarity.
